I drank my coffee from the thermos you bought me because you knew I hated it when things spilled in my car. The trees rushed past me.
Sometimes (often times), I listen to country music. This song feels just right. Let’s just lay low.
Such an intent stare
One eye at a time
You are a rare bird
I mean I know that now is all there is
And love’ll just make you cry
So I live for the sight of a rare bird
Suddenly flying by
You can have Manhattan…I’ll settle for the beach, and sunsets facing westward, and sand beneath my feet.
An indie kind of love.
The perfect song to listen to while the rain is coming down hard outside…you’re wrapped up in a cozy room with no agenda other than to enjoy the sound as it comes down for the rest of the evening.
I discovered this band while watching a pretty great movie called “Take Me Home.” Love the escapism and the romance around being on the road. I might have cried a little.
This song will always remind me of my sister.
